Jeremy Maclin just signed with the Ravens, sky rocketing him 13 slots from my 33rd receiver to my 18th receiver. This might seem like a knee jerk reaction, but the Ravens lost 335 targets during this offseason due to injuries/retirement/departures. Maclin will step in and immediately be Flacco’s number one option, and we could very well see a resurgence from the former Pro Bowler. Staying with receivers on the move, the Jets have made it clear that Eric Decker will not be apart of next years season. They are looking to trade him, but are okay with releasing him if they cannot find a partner. This might seem like it would drop most people’s stock, but leaving the Jets offense will most likely benefit Decker’s fantasy outlook for next season. Many teams would be more than happy to add him to their roster, so he will for sure have a team next season, and most likely a better quarterback throwing him the ball too. Decker’s former teammate, Demaryius Thomas, has seemed to fly over many people's heads and remained unmentioned lately. Thomas has had an 1,000 yard season since 2012, and has at least 5 touchdowns to pair with those as well. Many people question if Denver’s quarterback situation is fantasy friendly enough to have Thomas on your roster, but I believe Demaryius himself will make sure it is. We all have heard how Michael Thomas is projected to explode now that he is Bree’s number one option in New Orleans, but that has hidden Willie Snead’s value. Last year Snead gained the 4th most receiving yard from the slot last season.

Plenty of news on running back for this week’s report as well. LeGarrette Blount signing with the Eagles gives him a rise in stock as he will most likely be able to get double digit touchdowns again this season. The Jay Ajayi hype train is fully loaded, and Gase added more fuel to the fire when he told the media he plans to have Jay Ajayi carry the ball roughly 350 times next season. This alone gives me enough confidence to have Ajayi due to the amount of times he will touch the ball. Another back I am gaining hype on is Jamaal Williams from BYU. Green Bay drafted Williams and is in desperate need for a legit running back in their offense. Though he has yet to be named the starter, I see Williams taking over by week 4, and could have a Jay Ajayi like season. In the same area of ADP Joe Williams, rookie RB from Utah, also is gaining hype to be the lead back with the 49ers. Kyle Shanahan is very high on the rookie running back, and with Carlos Hyde’s injury issues, Williams could have the job pretty soon as well.

Sometimes there doesn’t need to be headlining news for me to change how I feel about a player’s upcoming season. Cam Newton is one of those players. The more i think about the Panther’s new speed being added to the offense the more I think Cam’s swagger will come back as well. When Cam is confident in his play he has shown to be a MVP type player, and I think McCaffrey and Samuel will bring the best out in Cam.

Depending on if Kelvin Benjamin can get back into shape, and prove he really wants to be a star, the Panther’s will be a nightmare to cover. Another one of those players is Ben Roethlisberger, who I feel less and less confident in every day. Though he has the most loaded receiving corps in the NFL, I worry about him being on the field to even be able to use them. I dropped Big Ben from 3rd to 5th, a small drop but enough to knock him out of my elite QBs. Martavis Bryant is going to be a key factor in the offense as well, coming off a year suspension how fast can Bryant come back to being elite? Same could be said for Sammy Watkins as he still seems banged up as he just was cleared for limited practice. A foot injury is never good for a receiver, and until he can prove me wrong, I would want to stay away from Watkins. Finishing off my falling stocks would be a unit rather than just one player. The Chiefs reported they will not have Tyreek Hill returning kicks anymore, which puts a major dent in their fantasy value. Hill brought a speed attack that would always give the Chiefs D/ST extra value.
